yggtrasilboy 1 Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 I right click and use the installer on the file for Mint version amd64. I try to reinstall the package. When I reopen emby, the settings still say needs to update. I do only exit emby and not a full shut down. If I go to Terminal, I need super user privilege unless I use sudo in front which tells me no such directory.

I went to deb installer package. the normal installer. I reinstalled the whole package. I checked the small icon to see the version number. You have to sign out and shutdown the server completely before. The reinstall package took me three or four times before it worked. Maybe it wasn't shut down all the way. The update took away my library set up. It made it harder to search.
