Cannot access Dashboard

I'm trying to go into the dashboard to configure the server to load at start up. When the mb3 server is running I right click the server icon from the dashboard and select "configure media browser". This opens my web browser (Chrome) and for a brief moment I see the destination address as "http://localhost:8096/mediabrowser/web/dashboard.html" and I catch a glimpse of the configuration page but the browser then redirects to http://localhost:8096/mediabrowser/web/index.html and loads the player interface.

 

I did just update to the latest release 3.0.5424.1 however i noted this problem before the update as well.

try logging out of the web client, and then logging back in with a user profile with administrative rights.

Tried that. Tried logging out, full reboot and restart of the server with no change. Not sure if it should be visible but there isn't a cog/gear in the top right either.

if the cog isnt' there then you're logging in as a user that you've already chosen not to give administrator privileges to.

But I'm the only mb3 user and the only machine user with admin privileges.

Issues resolved. 

 

Uninstalled and did a clean installation and everything is back to normal now.
