nasobuko 2 Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Hello, I am the developer of ytdlp2strm (https://github.com/fe80Grau/ytdlp2STRM) what I do with this little application is use yt-dlp to generate .strm files that will load the youtube streams and their respective nfo and thumbnails. These strm have the same name as the original youtube video. The directory where I have the .strm I add it in a TV Show type library, since I think it is the most correct for this type of content. The problem is that in some videos Emby decides to apply an episode number, only in some not in all, I do not know what is the criterion for doing it by Emby. What becomes annoying because my intention is that they appear ordered by broadcast date, date that I include in the nfo for each video, but with the auto assignment of episode number it breaks this order. In the "series" settings it is indicated that it is displayed Here is an example of nfo from a video <episodedetails>
️ Así es PS5 Pro PRECIO + DATOS + SU LANZAMIENTO ¿VALDRÁ LA PENA
<plot> JUEGOS AL 70% DE DESCUENTO: https://ene.ba/extas1s
Juegos de XBOX ¡Baratos!: https://ene.ba/extas1s-games
Xbox Game Pass Core ¡Al mejor precio! https://ene.ba/extas1s-pass

VIDEOS QUE TE INTERESAN:
BETA CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS 6 GRATIS : https://youtu.be/1btooz__-IQ
JUEGAZO GRATIS: https://youtu.be/AZgvu7bWhdY
¿POR QUÉ MARVEL Y CAPCOM NO SALE EN XBOX?: https://youtu.be/1btooz__-

--------------------------------------------------------

Si te gustó el vídeo, deja tu like, haz algún comentario y no olvides suscribirte a este CANAL para estar al tanto de los próximos vídeos que subiré a diario. It is due to the your filenaming - naming convention used; since it is a TV Shows-type library, parser is trying to guess episode number (and your NFOs contain value only for <season> tag while <episode> tag is blank). In your screenshot example, whenever episode number is assigned, you can find that exact string/number (6, 11, 24, 26, 800) in the episode Title (likely included in the filename as well). Luke 42079 Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Hi, why not just use a home videos library rather than TV?
nasobuko 2 Posted September 16, 2024 Author Posted September 16, 2024 Many thanks to both of you, I'll see how I handle the situation, maybe make a fake enumeration for Emby's logic. I think that could be the solution to control the exact order I want. On the other hand, I'm not sure I like the home videos option for what I want, I don't think there's an nfo that I can build to show the general information of the channel, with TV Show I can. I also don't see the option to show the release date only the year. Home videos library: TV Show library
Luke 42079 Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 OK for a TV library you will need to follow naming conventions to some degree. Please let us know what you end up doing. Thanks.
