Folder view - Most Show Fields fail to show up

Version 4.9.0.30 beta

Adding 'Show Fields' for folders of a library, only work for Title and File Name.
All other 'Show Fields' selections create only empty line spaces in the info area, under the media card in library view.  Data from the dbase is not added to the card.

I also tested with my custom css off, but it's possible I missed something.  Does anyone else see this user interface error?

Hi, remember that you're looking at the folders. You are not looking at the media. The folders do not have those values.

I am not asking meta data on a folder poster.  The data is missing from each media listed inside the folder. It's not my custom styling.  If you don't want the meta data to show, OK.  But why offer the selections choices and then not show it and why add blank lines?

Please try it out.  Maybe there is some custom css from my styling that I missed.  I think I turned everything off.  It still seems pretty buggy to me.  I know, it's one of those areas, no one actually notices and normally it's never tested.

The issue is these are folders even if they are just single item folders and none of those options can apply to the folder as a folder is not always limited to a single item.

To a point all the options should be hidden for Folders.

If you select edit metadata on any of those folders the info does not exist, correct?

OK, Show Fields do work fine up until 'Year' for TV libraries.  

Again, this is a seldom viewed feature.  Movie Libraries and TV Libraries listings do not allow the same data.  In both cases many more Fields are listed that do not work.  Is it worth time to sort this out?  Maybe not.  I just thought I would bring it to dev's attention for review.

Aha, that is correct.  So Movie libraries folder view offer metadata edits compared to TV Series folder view.

I have to wonder if anyone has actually ever noticed?   Ha...

This is a 4.8+ change and has been brought up in other topics not liking the extra layer via folder view.  But yes a series/show is always collapsed and now movies are no longer collapsed for those single items.  

Where the library switch CollapseSingleItemFolders is going away.
