Enk3lt 1 Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Hello, Since yesterday, I am experiencing problems when adding new movies/TV series to my library. Normally, Emby will automatically identify the new stuff that comes in, as well as find a cover for the new stuff. It has stopped doing that, and if I try to manually find the film/TV series on themoviedb, it says that it cannot find anything on the selected ID number from themoviedb, and it doesn't matter which film or series I try with. I have also tried manually using imdb and thetvdb - but there is no difference. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Solution Happy2Play 9780 Posted September 7, 2024 Solution Posted September 7, 2024 You appear to have a network issue as Emby can not talk to external provider sites. Quote Something is blocking your emby server from sending these outgoing network requests. Typical causes of this are firewall, security software or VPN. Can you check into those? Resource temporarily unavailable (mb3admin.com:443) Resource temporarily unavailable (api.github.com:443) Resource temporarily unavailable (api.themoviedb.org:443) Resource temporarily unavailable (private.omdbapi.com:443) Resource temporarily unavailable (api4.thetvdb.com:443) Resource temporarily unavailable (webservice.fanart.tv:443) And you have an iNotify issue. The configured user limit (8192) on the number of inotify watches has been reached, or the operating system failed to allocate a required resource. 2
Enk3lt 1 Posted September 7, 2024 Author Posted September 7, 2024 I probably got a new internet provider, and thus a new router from them. Could there be some built-in firewall in the router that causes emby to make that error? I also have problems getting my port forwarding to work again. And also does my quickconnect complain about my synology?
Luke 42077 Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 @Enk3ltdid you figure out what is blocking these communications?
