rolzurg 1 Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 Hi there, I've been playing with Roku ECP & deeplinking (this thread helped a lot). I don't really like the idea of sequentially launching the app and then start an audio playlist using Emby Remote Control - I'd prefer to fire the playlist directly using ECP. I tried multiple commands based on "curl -v -XPOST http://{ipaddress}:8060/launch/43157?Command=PlayNow&ItemIds=1,2,..." but no luck. Did anyone manage? Any suggestion? And I'm also interested to display pictures using ECP. Both PlayNow and DisplayContent won't work... Thank you!
ebr 16169 Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 Hi. Are you doing this on your local network?
rolzurg 1 Posted September 14, 2024 Author Posted September 14, 2024 Thanks for the reactions Yes, on my local network (and not intending to do that remotely)

speechles 2055 Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 To be completely honest here, we need to add the "DisplayContent" and a few of the others into the app still. @Luke@ebrWe need #1308 merged. As far as the "Play" options with images, this will be a problem. We only gave the external controller access to the videoplayer and audioplayer, not the photoplayer. We can add playback support for images to the casting support. This was an oversight and something we forgot. I have added this to our issue tracker. Reference: Issue #1638: [Casting] Add support for photos during casting playback 1
