kkren 0 Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 Currently, the web app will always use the default font to render ass subtitles, while other platforms can render subtitles with embedded fonts correctly. But the upstream project for subtitles rendering has already enabled embedded font extraction https://github.com/libass/JavascriptSubtitlesOctopus/pull/146. Can we adopt a similar feature in Emby? Example ass file in attachment 012.00010.track_4352.wav.sushi.fixed.assfonts.ass
guunter 49 Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 A lot of us just burn in the subtitles for our anime. It works well. I just notice that videos do take a some seconds longer to load but the subtitles are displayed correctly
