cappapp 7 Posted August 31, 2024 Posted August 31, 2024 Running Emby 4.8.8.0 as an Unraid docker for years now. Something happened recently where users had access to IPTV channels I have setup even tho only my account is allowed access to them. I'm not sure when, but I saw in the activity history of one of my users playing one of them. I setup all these accounts, so know most of the logins and was able to confirm this is indeed the case. After poking around and double checking settings. I have figured out that by checking, then unchecking the permissions for IPTV for each user. It went back to behaving as expected, with users not having access to IPTV again. Wasn't too thrilled, not sure how long this has been going on. But at least I was able to quickly fix. Just a heads up for anyone else running different permissions for other users on your server.
