sabayon 10 Posted August 31, 2024 Posted August 31, 2024 Hallo zusammen.

Hi, I would just look over user permissions and grant or deny access to various things based on your intentions. Quote Can I link it to my existing Emby Connect account, or should I create a different one? You can, but I probably wouldn't because if you use Emby Connect personally then you probably want to sign in with a different user other than guest. 1

If I create a new Emby Connect account for the guest account, can I use my existing Emby Premiere subscription with it, or does this require a new subscription?

I'm having trouble understanding your question, as Emby Connect and Emby Premiere are completely unrelated, there's no dependency whatsoever between the two of those. Could you elaborate a bit more what are you asking for?Â

I just want to know whether I need a separate Emby Premiere subscription for each Emby Connect account or not. Â
Solution GrimReaper 4739 Posted September 7, 2024 Solution Posted September 7, 2024 (edited) No, you don't need it, you can have as many Emby Connect accounts linked to users on your server as you want, it is not dependent on whether server has an active Premiere license/subscription or not. Edited September 7, 2024 by GrimReaper 1
