hootie418 5 Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 When my m3u list for TV gets refreshed all channels between 1-99 lose their guide mapping. The only thing I can thing off is the channel numbers in my m3u do not have leading zeroes and the guide data does have leading zeroes. Channel 005 in the guide Channel 5 in my m3u list. Is there a way to lock this or fix this issue??
Luke 42079 Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Hi, sounds like the m3u is changing significantly such that the channels can't be matched up before and after?
hootie418 5 Posted August 29, 2024 Author Posted August 29, 2024 I can match them before. I tried changing the channel numbers in emby and it shows that the numbers lock. When the m3u updates the numbers change back. The CUID in the m3u stay the same
Luke 42079 Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 OK we'd have to look at a specific example. Thanks.
hootie418 5 Posted August 29, 2024 Author Posted August 29, 2024 (edited) Its weird. This just started happening. I have had the same system in place for a while. Are there any logs or examples I can give? Edited August 29, 2024 by hootie418
Luke 42079 Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 The best place to start is looking at the contents of the m3u both before and after the guide data refresh.
hootie318 3 Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 I don't want to post my m3u lists here. I can tell you that to me the files look identical. I switched the channel numbers in iptvboss to numbers all above 100 and have refreshed multiple times without issue. Iptvboss does not allow leading zeros and the guide I use in emby have them. I've been using iptvboss for 6 months and haven't had the problem until about a week ago.
Luke 42079 Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 hi, you could obfuscate the actual video urls, we don't need to see those. Can you do that?
