Emby not accesible through WAN adress

I cannot access Emby through the WAN address. The server is configured to allow remote connections, but when I try to access it I get two different messages:

1. The server cannot be reached- try again later, or

2. The server needs to be updated (it already is, to a 4.8.8.0 version)

I've installed another emby server before, and this one is available through WAN address, so I presume the router is configured as it should be.

Thanks for helping me

Is the other emby server still active ?

You cannot use the same WAN address and port more than once - you need to use an alternative port and your router will then use that alongside the current emby server.

So if you have used 8096 before (http) then maybe use 8097 for the 2nd instance (http) THEN you can have both servers active at the same time using the same WAN IP address.
