Does not load backdrops in TV mode

Hello,

sorry for any confusion, I'm new here. I found a bug in the backdrops view. In display mode TV, backdrops are not loaded in the home screen. Everything is fine in other display modes. Unfortunately, the display mode cannot be changed in LG TV apps and the background is not displayed.

Is there any solution?

Note it works in Libraries but not Home Screen.

Correction as it looks like functionality is different in TV mode and provides the backdrop of selected it.  Where desktop it just provides random backdrops.

@Kaprakdo you see backdrops if you navigate to any item in the media rows not the My Media?

@Happy2Play unfortunately not. The backdrop is displayed only when a specific movie is selected.

So this is a issue in the LG client correct?

As my image is from browser.

@Happy2PlayIt's not a LG app problem, it's a server problem when setting the client as TV. My screen is also from the browser. If I set an option other than TV, the backdrop is fine. But in TV app is no option to set Display mode.

Have you enabled backdrop in the Display settings after you switch to tv mode ?

Hi, solution to what exactly? As soon as you select something with your remote, you will see the backdrop, no?

Yes as the dev confirmed this appears to be how it works in TV mode.  As other modes do not behave this way.

 

Not sure why they are different but I guess it could become a resource issue.
