Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 (edited) No what folder are you putting the playlists in as you can not drop into userplaylists as that is database user controlled and dropping in there will never show as it is not linked to a user via usershares in the db. KandyMan 7 Posted August 27, 2024 Author Posted August 27, 2024 Oh my bad, /volume1/@appdata/EmbyServer/data/playlists/Star Wars [playlist]
Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 Minus errors I am not sure as I just dropped a playlist in /data/playlists and it shows up. Not sure if related as you are not even seeing the playlists.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 Does putting the content of your Star Wars.m3u into your test.m3u and doing a scan update that playlist? As I can only guess something within the m3u if no log errors.
KandyMan 7 Posted August 27, 2024 Author Posted August 27, 2024 I'll give that a try tomorrow, I need to get to bed for work in the morning, thanks for all your help so far I really appreciate it
KandyMan 7 Posted August 28, 2024 Author Posted August 28, 2024 I have no idea what happened, but after doing the mass find/replace and copying the playlists back into emby, it appears leaving it overnight has caused the playlists to reappear with all of their content intact. Not sure why manually asking emby to do a scan didn't cause them to reappear, but either way it looks like everything is back to how it should be. Thanks everyone, in particular thanks to @Happy2Playfor all the information you shared 2
