Hi, did you run a library scan after adding the library?

I did not added a library. I added an album folder to the watched library folder.

At the log seems to detect the add, but then nothing happens.

Last night did a library scan, just in case.

This morning added "Break every rule" by Tina Turner. Still not showing.

I guess the question becomes does a library scan show the content when what appear as RTM does not?

But the log is too short for AC/DC refresh as it was just triggered and will not be seen for at least 60/90 seconds per the default LibraryMonitorDelaySeconds system.xml setting.

Timeline of this post:

1 - Start a library scan sunday around 23Hs.

2 - Monday morning (today) added "Break every rule" by Tina Turner.

3 - The log I uploaded is the log after the library scan and the addition of "Break every rule". Also is the screenshot.

Please find in the log the Tina Turner album, not the AC/DC one.

No if I do a search. Didn't try browsing. Let me try that tonight.

It is really hard to say as I really don't know what is being refreshed as each timer stop but think there is a lot queued as there are over 14000 library monitor hits but yes I don't really know why Emby lists multiple time per item is some cases.

@Lukehow does the queue work?  Does it process everything seen in that 90 second delay so at timer stopped that segment gets processed?

Don't know what those timer stop means.

I'll do the following: tonight I'll run another library scan, and tomorrow morning will just add another content, and upload the log and the screenshot.

Assuming your server is not doing a lot adding/changing an item should be seen roughly 2 minutes after adding per RTM.  As the delay timer is set to 90 seconds.

It is in the system.xml sure it can but lowering it will/can make it even worse but honestly do not know how the triggers are queued when there is a lot of change noticed.  But can say if a lot of change is noticed you can wait the progress indicator go into a continuous loop for a while.  So if I have another program touching a lot of files, I will disable RTM until finished.

On some file systems a change notification can occur as much as 50-60 seconds after the change actually happened, based on what we’ve seen. So the delay needs to be long enough to cover that time or else you could end up with two scans occurring for one change.

Yes. It took a long time to show the albums, and the tracks within the album.
