contrashadow 0 Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 What ever show I try to play recently, I can play for a few minutes and it stops. If I try to skip even 10s it stops. The error I find: 22:00:42.014 [matroska,webm @ 000002013fd2bd80] Could not find codec parameters for stream 3 (Subtitle: hdmv_pgs_subtitle (pgssub)): unspecified size Consider increasing the value for the 'analyzeduration' (0) and 'probesize' (5000000) options 22:00:42.017 Input #0, matroska,webm, from 'D:\S02-E09 - Looking for Sanctuary\S02-E09 - Looking for Sanctuary.mkv': 22:00:42.017 Metadata: 22:00:42.017 title : Looking S02E09 Looking for Sanctuary - ZQ 22:00:42.017 encoder : libebml v1.3.9 + libmatroska v1.5.2 22:00:42.017 creation_time : 2022-01-01T00:46:22.000000Z 22:00:42.017 Duration: 00:28:55.72, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 5619 kb/s 22:00:42.017 Stream #0:0: Video: hevc (Main 10), yuv420p10le(tv), 1920x1080, SAR 1:1 DAR 16:9, Level 120, 23.98 fps, 23.98 tbr, 1k tbn (default)
Luke 42079 Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
contrashadow 0 Posted August 26, 2024 Author Posted August 26, 2024 Hi, thanks for reply. So basically I have been able to narrow it down to .mkv files. Every other .avi, .mp4 plays ok. I can even start playing .mkv files but soon after it stop. Sometimes a few minutes, sometimes after 15 or 20. Skip, seek never works. Instantly stops. Stays on load for longer period and reports Stream not found. Here is the log: ffmpeg-transcode-61fbadc1-8ee7-4db0-9fba-b7b963e8829f_1.txt embyserver.txt
Luke 42079 Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 Hi @contrashadowjust for testing purposes, if you turn off transcoding throttling in server transcoding settings, does that resolve the issue?
contrashadow 0 Posted September 13, 2024 Author Posted September 13, 2024 Hi Luke, I tried that now, the result is the same
