SlayerXT 2 Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 I've been trying to edit manually the Arrested Development season 4 metadata, since the season was aired first as 15 episodes, then they released the Season 4 remix which had 22 episodes and I can't match the metadata. On TVDB the Season 4 Remix appears here in the specials section: https://thetvdb.com/series/arrested-development/seasons/official/0 and also they appear in the DVD order section as season 5 for some reason: https://thetvdb.com/series/arrested-development/seasons/dvd/5 (probably cause they still list the original season 4, then the season 4 remix is season 5 and season 5 is season 6 in the DVD order section). Anyway, I managed to manually edit single episodes with only the TVDB ID of the correct episode from the DVD order/specials section and it had the names right, but then it started messing with the order of the episodes. When I tried to edit the metadata again and enter the season and episode number as in the special section (for example, episode 1 in S00E08 in the specials), it still messes up the order, and just moves episodes around but never in the correct order. As you can see in the screenshot I added, the episodes right now are in the random order of - 3, 5, 4, 7, 1, 6, 8, 2 (the last two episodes are not in the screenshot) but I'm just lost, every edit I do it just moves them around but always in this random order, sometimes it puts episodes 1 and 2 on top, then starts moving other episodes that I edit, before them in the order
Luke 42079 Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 Hi, did you configure the file order for the series?

Don't think so, can I configure the order manually for the series? The only way I found and it worked for me before was manually editing a few special episodes on different shows and it worked fine, but here it messes up the order
pwhodges 2012 Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 What he means is, did you specify in the show's metadata that you are using the DVD ordering? Paul
SlayerXT 2 Posted August 26, 2024 Author Posted August 26, 2024 No, would like to know where do I do it? or another solution to my problem for at least editing the metadata in this season so it would be right. Couldn't find the option to use the DVD order in the series metadata settings

I just did the edit option on the series itself or on the season and all the options are just the regular ones where I can edit the links to the TVDB IDs or IMDB IDs or choose the default language for the series metadata. Am I missing something? been using Emby for like two years now and I think i'm missing something 1
