Varg 1 Posted August 24, 2024 Posted August 24, 2024 (edited) I have a LG OLED55C9PLA TV with Edifier S2000MKIII speakers. I have selected optical digital out as PCM in my LG TV settings. When I play the Blu-ray mkv movie called Prime Cut, which had DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio I'm experiencing intermittent small bits of stuttering during playback and the same goes for the Blu-ray mkv movie called Stalingrad that also has DTS-HD MA 5.1 sound. When I"m selecting Dolby Digital 5.1 playback goes buttery smooth. I'm using external SRT subtitles to avoid any other playback problems with HDR movies because when I select PGS subtitles playback goes laggy. The particular movies aren strangely enough not mentioned in the logs btw. I'm using my PC as the Emby server and it's powerful enough to handle anything but this stuttering is bothering me, especially when I can't fallback to selecting Dolby Digital 5.1 sound because it's not available for the particular movie. Does anyone know what could cause these small intermittent stutters? embyserver.txt ffmpeg-remux-48c2be7c-808b-47bd-98cf-7da589fcc0fb_1.txt hardware_detection-63860113706.txt Edited August 24, 2024 by Varg

Yes but strangely enough it's not with all HDR movies that have a DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio track. I have no idea what the problem could be but when there is a Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track available I will use that for smooth playback.
