Nvidia Shield 3d Playback

Hi, I am 6 days away from my free trial and it all hinges on whether I can get 3D movies to play on Emby using the the Nvidea Shield.  I have ripped a movie using MakeMKV and I did check the MVC checkbox.  I selected MVC in the 3D Format field inside the edit metadata box,  I renamed the title to "The Hobbit The Desolation of Smaug (2013)-3d.mvc.mkv" as Emby requirements suggests to play 3d files, but no luck as of yet as it continues to display as 2D.  Is there anything I am doing wrong?

My projector is a Nexigo Aurora which supports 3D.  I have no problems playing the file using my Dune HD Pro Vision 4K Solo Media player, but I would like to just use the Nvidia Shield.

Hi.  I don't believe the player we are using supports MVC.  You could use an external player or rip as SBS.

Yes, after doing my research the Shield does not support MVC.  TY for your help!
