I will send a log by PM. As for the nickname, it appears the settings were changed to Advanced instead of Expert. I suppose a family member made that mistake, so at least that one's been solved.

Hi. First of all thank you so much for this great add-on and making it better and better daily. I had a small request if it's possible. for the video add-on helper, is it possible to have the trending movies and shows as well? We have them based on recommended, genre, upcoming and etc, but possibly having trending now would be awesome. If no what do you recommend for helper?

It would be possible to add a node, but I need the rules/patterns/template for it.

Hi is there any way to import embys TV guide with images from embys EPG guide data, coz at moment I've only get shows info on timeline and description no images of season and episode numbers , not sure i need to adjust IPTV simple client settings any help with this be great

TV stations logos are supported but sounds you are asking for something else. Does the server show the EPG icons? Can you post a screenshot, that I know what you are requesting?

I had a quick look and can just guess how the tvdbhelper plugin works. Seems it look into the tvdb database and makes suggestions. If the content is locally available, it play the local content (and this works). Assuming it uses the tvdb ID (for lookup) and that ID is synced by the next-gen plugin if the server has this info. If not available it tries to play via dlna something? Maybe a trailer from the internet? Never worked for me, however.

The sync is correct and the helper plugin works with that.

No don't mean channel icons I get them , I was asking about the TV guide images of the shows that emby has, example say TV show is star trek in emby you get channel incon , series info , seasons and episodes info and the cover art of the series. In Kodi via your app you import icons, TV show description that's it's , I thought it could also get TV show cover art and season and episode info as well like say Star trek , description and then season 5 episode 1 and the cover art for series , is this not possible or do I have to make a setting in simple IPTV client

I don't have these icons that's why I asked for a screenshot. I use m3u on Emby, assuming you use a different livetv provider.

What I'm saying is that isn't getting imported to Kodi IE no EPG images of the TV guide that emby has  . Are you not familiar with EPG guide images ??  First image is on emby server TV guide I'm highlighting Dracula then I clicked it to show you next screen see cover art. Now third screen is Kodi with your plugin and enabled live TV sync but  cover art not imported into IPTV simple client

Thanks I see, I don't have them and I cannot edit the images as there is no option on emby server for that. I need to think how to test.

Timeline update:

Currently I'm working on 12.X version.

Main focus is on Kodi 22 support and as usual performance.

If there are any feature requests, now is a good time letting me know.

I assume the next public testing version will be available in June with some core changes under the hood.

FR: the ability to set the number of backups kept (0 for infinite).  That way you don't have to manually delete older backups which would drop off automatically.  Maybe a scheduled backup.

I put it on the list, frankly I never use the plugin-backup functionality. However, as I start thinking of that, probably I should reevaluate this function. Specially for forced updates which require a database reset -> auto rollback.

Hi there. I'm currently having an issue with the plugin. I'm running 11.2.1 on CE-cpm A14 on the ugoos AM6b+. Every so often, the plugin simply just doesn't show certain items in the library. I go into the Sync settings and sync successfully. However, certain items (especially new ones) just don't show up. It only works if I click Repair Library. I can't use v12, as it seems to be for Kodi 22, while CE-cpm A14 is 21.2.

Also (I'm not sure if this is the plugin or the skin I'm using), under In Progress Shows, it shows the shows in alphabetical order instead of actually ones that have been watched recently. So if I watch a show with a T, it'll be at the end of the list instead of at the beginning. I'm using the Arctic Fuse 2 skin. I looked in Settings for the plugin and the skin and couldn't see anything related to this.

Impossible to say what's wrong without detailed information.

Start sync, realtime sync etc and of course I need kodi logs including the issue and a pattern to reproduce the issue.

Already there but only for Emby server 4.9X (4.8X not tested).

This version does NOT support Kodi 21.X therefore I did not announced it and is basically the latest 11.X version with the Kodi 22 patches.

The "official" 12.X will support both Kodi versions.

Which node do you use?

Please test with custom node -> Addons -> Video Addons -> Emby next gen (video) -> Open -> Synced nodes - > Select library -> In progress TV Shows -> check the order.

This is the latest version in the repositories, and is correct. Public testing versions must updated manually. -> Section "Plugin Installation"

For synced content you can use Kodi's search function and should be the preferred method.

"EMBY DYNAMIC: Search" is for content lookup directly on the server and works fine on my setup. Sounds you access the node in a different manner?

I will double check that tonight. But it was just default to what was installed, nothing changed. I will say that I added a bunch of things to my library and sure enough they showed up. So I seem to be crying wolf here. I'll keep an eye on it and if I notice it again, I'll grab logs and post them here.
