Thanks, on first sight I assume you use path substitution for the corresponding Emby library which includes the youtube videos? At least it seems to be a network share. Native mode, no Emby path substitution -> works 2. Native mode, with Emby path substitution -> works 3. Addon mode, no Emby path substitution -> works 4. You need to install tvtunes from latts repo -> https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=347428 Then you need to sync the themes from Emby. Emby for Kodi Next-gen service plugin -> Sync -> Manage libraries -> Enable themes and follow the wizard. Be careful if you choose "download", this could use quite some space. I got my first ever prompt to skip credits last night. I must have selected Addon mode accidentally. Luckily, as we can see, it's not an issue. I did every step, but still not working. There is one folder for every movie, and inside these, there is a backdrops folder with a theme.mp4 file.

However check the configurations of the tvtunes plugin. There are a lot of options and I think you need to enable the videos there. Edited February 26, 2025 by quickmic

I restarted kodi, and still no change with STRM files. Log

Probably run a factory reset of the plugin to be absolutely sure the Kodi's database is cleaned. Otherwise your changes will not be applied. The log still shows the path substitution. The problem is, a change of the path substitution on Emby side is not reported by Emby server. Due, the plugin is not aware of the change and it's not a plugin limitation. It's a Emby server limitation.

But the issue persisted (I checked the log and it was the same). I didn't want to do a factory reset and have to type in my server again, so I removed all of my libraries, deleted the kodi db files and my thumbnails, restarted kodi, and then added the libraries back. Issue persists, but the log looks different.

I don't have it open to the internet. I access it remotely through my tailscale VPN. I can share my tailscale network with you and ACL you to the specific IP:Port. That's the only way I can think of doing this securely.
