Issues connecting to server

Hi all, I've been using Emby for a while but suddenly it stopped connecting to my servers. When I try to connect it says server not available and ask me to remove or wake it. Emby connect can log in just fine, but I cannot connect to any server. Curious thing is that I tried with Android TV (shield), iPad, windows, iPhone and same issues but I could connect using the wifi in my parents house. Have you guys seen this before or know how to "unlock" Emby in my network? I think it is stretching down to something in my network or internet provider. Thanks!

Hi there, can you try doing  a manual connection by adding a new server and entering the server address? Please see if that helps. Thanks.

What exactly did you do? What exactly did you enter and what happened?

Hi there,

Not sure if this is the same problem, but I had problems connecting using the emby external access IP.  The only way I could fix the issue is stopping Emby on the server and starting it again.  I could access the server at home and while using tailscale but not the Emby external access IP. Not sure why this occurred.

Giving more details: the servers are from a service that I bought so I have no admin access to them. What I did was to check the addresses from the list attached (when I logged in with Emby connect) then I tried adding manually the servers using the addresses but still saw the error that it was not possible to connect to the servers (also attached). And again when I did this using my mobile data in my phone it worked just fine, I just cannot do this in my local network for some reason.

The person you "bought" the service from is violating their terms of service as selling access to a server is not allowed.

Emby is a program that allow you to set up a server for your own media and connect to it through clients. It is NOT a service provider.
If the person you paid for service gets caught then Emby will, somehow, disable their server and block their account.

Emby is a client/server system and it is NOT a service or a content provider. If you need a content provider then something like NetFlix or Hulu or YouTube would be closer to what you seem to want.

When it failed to connect, are you saying that at that exact moment in time, you were able to successfully connect to the same server using a different device?

Exactly but not when I tried in my local wifi, it only worked the time I tried using my mobile data and mobile app. The screenshot that failed was from the iPad connected to local network (the same behavior is seen while trying with every device I have using my local network)

Is that the behavior you still see now ? Does it still connect from that device?
