Mark all previous episodes as played

Helpful if you have watched part of a series elsewhere but what to continue on Emby.

Example. I'm at S03E07 of a show with 7 more episodes to watch this season.

To mark episodes I've already seen as played currently I need to mark season 1 and 2 as played then season 3 episodes 1 to 7 all separately.

A menu option to do this as one process would be a great time saver.

Not sure I follow. As you have a half watched season, you're always going to have to mark episodes "watched" manually - but you can already do that with multi-select and toggle watched status by menu.

Can you be more specific about how you would like to see this improved?

Hi, it’s not a bad idea, but yes as mentioned here, the multi select tool can help you get these kinds of things done quicker.

Is the multi select option web only as I can't see in tv app?

For clarity, slowly I've moved my viewing of long standing shows from terrestrial TV to Emby. Some shows with large episode counts in each season (think soaps, QI, question of sports).

One thing has been annoying to do tho and that's marking episodes I've already seen as watched when mid season. 

One press to tell Emby I'm not interested in all the previous episodes or to mark these all as watched would be brill and I imagine much easier even compared to the multi select option especially for larger seasons.

Just thought I would share and see if anyone else experienced the same.

Oh I'm with you now. So if you start playing an episode mid way through an unwatched season, pop a message like "Do you want to mark previous episodes as played? - Yes or No"

Yeah, as per Luke - not a bad idea in the TV apps.

Available in the web app, and mobile apps. Can't see it possible in TV apps.

That or similar would be a great addition for TV apps, imho
