Eric_HTPC 1 Posted August 16, 2024 Posted August 16, 2024 Hi, i'm getting the following error when trying to play a live tv channel. Exception of type 'MediaBrowser.Common.Extensions.RemoteServiceUnavailableException' was thrown. This is happening on multiple channels from one playlist but not all. I have verified the channel works on an external player. Thanks, Eric
Luke 42078 Posted August 16, 2024 Posted August 16, 2024 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
Luke 42078 Posted August 23, 2024 Posted August 23, 2024 Hi, what is the source? The server has an error trying to reach the domain: 2024-08-16 15:30:58.102 Error HttpClient: Error getting response from http://host7:80/x_path1_x/x_path7_x/x_path8_x/x_path9_x *** Error Report *** Version: 4.8.8.0 Command line: C:\Users\Eric\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\EmbyServer.dll Operating system: Microsoft Windows 10.0.19045 Framework: .NET 6.0.30 OS/Process: x64/x64 Runtime: C:/Users/Eric/AppData/Roaming/Emby-Server/system/System.Private.CoreLib.dll Processor count: 8 Data path: C:\Users\Eric\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata Application path: C:\Users\Eric\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception.
Solution Eric_HTPC 1 Posted August 30, 2024 Author Solution Posted August 30, 2024 I'm not sure why it was doing this because I verified multiple times that I was able to play the channel in vlc. Regardless, it just started working by itself. 1
