zysljd 3 Posted August 15, 2024 Posted August 15, 2024 There is distortion (or crackling sound) in the audio when using the android TV version , which doesn’t happen on the android version. I'm playing the same movie, both in direct play mode, with speed 2X activated, and it makes a popping sound (zi~zi) at certain times on Android TV, but the same clip doesn't have this problem on Android Standard. When I call external player 2X to play in tv version, there is no such problem. I tested several speeds 1X OK 1.25X starts to make noise

It works now. Thank you very much. I have another question, I used to play it with an external player, which leaves a history in the external player, and when I play the movie again through the history, I can watch it normally, but I can't see that it's being played in the console of the emby server. Is this a risk?

But the api_key is fully documented in the external player history, is it not a bit risky to use this api_key and not have it appear in the console? Maybe the permissions of the playback api_key should be segregated from the other api_keys? I don't know if that's too much to worry about.

Yes this would be ideal, for playback to get a temporary one. That's something we are planning on doing.

It would be great if this could be done, exposing the api_key with full permissions is too risky. Thanks a lot! 1
