Shuffel feature on Android Auto produces always the same output

Hi,
I use Emby for music streaming in my car and I have a problem with the shuffle function.

When I go to one of my playlists and click "shuffle", only 50 songs from that playlist are added to the current playlist. As long as I don't restart my Emby server, those 50 songs will play in the same order every time I click the shuffle button on that playlist. (Even if I have played something else in between)
I don't think this is the desired behavior.

I would expect all songs to be added to the current playlist in a random order and the order to be changed every time I click the shuffle button.

Hi there, can you please provide an example? What version of Emby for Android are you on?

I am using the Emby Android app version 3.4.20.

I have tried to reproduce the behavior and have not been able to. It seemed to work fine while my car is parked at home.
But the problem definitely occurred when I was traveling in the last few weeks. Maybe it has something to do with the mobile connection not always being available or problems after a while when there were breaks between using Android Auto.

I will try to reproduce the behavior in the near future and find out what could be the reason. If I find out, I will post my findings here.
