Depends on if you save with media or not.

Or if you are Premiere users have you configured Backup and Restore as you would have a db backup.  Otherwise you will want to ensure you keep backups of a minimum of the databases manually.

i have  programdata\metadata\library\XX\ Is it using   "Depends on if you save with media or not."

I don't know exactly how the folder ids are made but do think a new db will ever link to existing info as items are imported.

Okay, the reason I ask is that after the auto-scraping is done, I still need to make some manual corrections, and if the rebuild of the database requires re-scraping, then I have to do it all over again.
That's why I asked if rebuilding the database = scraping the media library from scratch.

Yes I am almost positive new db will mean refetching images as metadata is db only.

Okay, thanks.
One more question.
After I manually modify the database, how can I confirm by log or server behavior that I have modified the records correctly. What kind of error warning will appear in the log or server if I modify a record incorrectly?

Realistically you shouldn't have to manually do anything if Emby finishes removing library and you have to error.

As for your original issue of potentially wrong folder being removed it is still sort of anyones guess but could be mixing folder name and may want to vary each folder name, but yes drive let should be enough but really don't do much drive lettter/folder tests as I pool all drives.
