Locked out of Account

Not sure what happened but I keep getting errors saying that my user is locked out. I’m still logged in on my phone so I was able to get the logs. What should I do?

If it was you then nothing to worry about if not you need to look at this blocking this IP (108.46.xxx.xx).

Possibly changing Emby ports and monitoring your server logs for rogue access attempts.

But looks like the server did what is was supposed to do.

Just don't really have any info on how long the lockout is or as you said you have a client that was already authenticated.

Devs would have to elaborate on lockout length/conditions as it appears to not affect existing authentication.

I’ve been having this issue for over a week now. The logs also keep saying that the password is wrong, but I’m not sure where is trying to log in since that’s the server having log in issues and not just the web client. 
 

Looks like it was my mom who tried to log in and didn’t realize she was trying to log in to my user account and not hers

Hi, what makes you think the server is having an issue? It looks like a wrong password is being entered, no?

Ironwolf is the name of the NAS the emby server is connected too. My question is why it keeps saying the username and password are wrong when I checked to make sure it wasn’t. I changed the password on my phone and made sure it was the same exact one

The log tells you the IP address this wrong password was entered from.  So if it was your mother then mystery solved.  But if the IP is someone else they are trying to access that user account.

Devs would have to comment on lockout times as it was mentioned 60 seconds.  But looking again the failed attempts are coming from yourself per the IP.  You will need to remove your PDF if possible or flag a mod to do to your WAN address SkyHawk.  Will edit my post above to remove address also.

Are you having a problem in an Emby app, or are you just looking through the log file?

My clients keep having issues, I’ve tried an Apple TV and also an LG TV. I tried to look into the logs to see what it might be and that’s where I saw the password issue.
