Roku LiveTV set to Guide view by default

So, I am trying to get the Roku app to default the Live TV to the GUIDE tab by default, instead of PROGRAMS.  I set it in the web app on the same account, and it doesnt get picked up on the Roku.   It is working on the web after doing that.  There doesnt seem to be a setting in the Roku app, as it says to do it in the web app.  Not sure what I am doing wrong.  Tried logout/back in and that didnt change anything.  Any ideas?

Hi.  Have you tried pressing the "cog" button on the upper right of the screen while in the Live TV library? Alternatively, you can hit the "*" button on your remote.

Yep, but it literaly says anything related to changing the home screen, has to be done via the web app.  Which I have done, and works fine in via the web.

Hi.  You need to do this inside the Live TV library...  IOW - go to configuration when you are on the screen you actually wish to configure.

So... something is up with the TV guide in Roku. Despite setting three users to Guide in their Home Screen settings, Roku still defaults to Programs.

The web app and PC app function correctly and start Live TV in Guide.

Troubleshooting steps include

• restarting the Emby Server
• restarting the Roku TV
• switching users
• switching Live TV Home Screen settings

The issue is duplicated on all the Roku boxes in my home.

Emby Server v4.8.10.0 on Win 11

Hi.  The default tab in a library isn't a home screen setting.

While in the Roku app, enter your Live TV library.  Now press the "*" button (or navigate to the cog upper right and click it).  Select, "Set default tab".
