In roku Shuffle button missing in photos folder

Hi. I m using a Roku device and it's connected to my Synology nas. Its missing the shuffle button on photos folder. Shuffle button shows up everywhere else except photos. i have around 5k pics in one folder and I can play the photos in sequence but looking for shuffle option. Is there a settings i have to change?  Please help. Thanks.

The only solution I found is to go to the folder where all the pictures are located, then on the right side, click on "sort" and select "shuffle". This will shuffle all the pictures, allowing you to click on "play" to view them in a shuffled order. However, it only plays about 100 pictures at a time, so I had to reshuffle and play another batch of 100 pictures.
