podonnell 47 Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Hello, I have a number of items that are showing 'YouTube' as the studio, where I believe it should be Amazon studios. 1) Would the culprit here be my primary metadata provider for this library? 2) Assuming this is incorrect, what is recommended to fix this? Should I manually update, change priority of metadata providers? 3) In the event that I manually update this myself, would the setting 'check the internet for new metadata every x days' overwrite my changes down the line? Thanks!
Luke 42078 Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Quote 1) Would the culprit here be my primary metadata provider for this library? Yes, unless you had the values in pre-existing nfo files. Quote 2) Should I manually update, change priority of metadata providers? This is up to you. Changing provider order is a very impactful change that could affect other pieces of data. I generally suggest sticking with the defaults. Quote 3) In the event that I manually update this myself, would the setting 'check the internet for new metadata every x days' overwrite my changes down the line? Yes, unless the field is locked.

I should be able to validate the 'bad' data is on the provider side by identifying the primary one, and visiting the title on that site, is that correct?
