How do I select a default view in a theme

What the title says.  I'm trying to avoid having to go into each and every folder and change the view, but I can't seem to get this to stick or change everything at once.

There is no way to select a default at this time but views are synced per item type so if you set one TV series view that is the one all TV series will use from that point forward.

 

Generic folders, have their own settings but people don't usually have very many of those so it isn't a big deal to configure them.

Is there a keyboard shortcut to change views so I can do it faster on all of my folders?

Not really.  Some themes (including chocolate) use the '#' key as a shortcut to bring up the config menu though.
