daimikegor 0 Posted August 2, 2024 Posted August 2, 2024 Hey all, I'm sorry if this is not the right place to post this but I couldn't find the appropriate section for this. I wanted to try Emby for the first time so I paid for Premiere for 1 month using my paypal account on July 26th. After trying it out, I decided it was not for me so I decided to cancel my subscription on July 30th via the Emby Theatre that I downloaded from the Microsoft store. I received an email starting that I had to click that link in order to go through with my cancellation. This is the link that it brought me to https://mb3admin.com/admin/service/strip/cancelsub?........ When the page loaded in my Edge browser, I got a suspicious warning but I ignored and proceeded anyway because it was from Emby. THEN a few seconds later, I got an email from my email provider stating that there was unusual account activity about a recent sign in from another country. Today I checked my bank account and noticed on my credit card I got a transaction from PAYPAL which I did not recognize. Already called my bank and they are looking into it and sending me a new card. Has anyone heard or experienced this before? Would an admin please contact me so we could find out more about what happened?

ebr 16184 Posted August 2, 2024 Posted August 2, 2024 Hi. Yes, please email billing support but, if you purchased via PayPal, you would not have that link to cancel your sub. That is only for direct card/Stripe purchases. PayPal subscriptions are managed inside your PayPal account. 1
