nwithan8 4 Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 Hello, I'm wondering if there is a way to update the "Customs intros path" via an API/HTTP call? Looking to automate this task.
Luke 42077 Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 HI, do you mean the path to the folder containing intros?

Luke 42077 Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 OK there's no way to set specific intro files. You can change the path using the api, but this is not documented at this time. You'll need to use the browser debugger to observe the request that the config screen sends and then do the same thing.

Cool. For future reference and travelers, this is what I've got: curl -X POST 'http://IP:PORT/emby/System/Configuration/cinemamode?X-Emby-Client=Emby+Web&X-Emby-Device-Name=Google+Chrome+macOS&X-Emby-Device-Id=myembydeviceid&X-Emby-Client-Version=4.9.0.26&X-Emby-Token=myembytoken&X-Emby-Language=en-us&reqformat=json' \ -H 'accept: */*' \ -H 'accept-language: en-US,en;q=0.9' \ -H 'content-type: text/plain' \ --data-raw '{"EnableIntrosForMovies":false,"EnableIntrosForEpisodes":false,"EnableIntrosForWatchedContent":false,"EnableIntrosFromUpcomingTrailers":false,"EnableIntrosFromMoviesInLibrary":false,"EnableIntrosParentalControl":true,"EnableIntrosFromSimilarMovies":true,"CustomIntroPath":"/path/to/cinema/trailer/folder","MediaInfoIntroPath":"","TrailerLimit":"2"}' Edited July 29, 2024 by nwithan8 1
