Can't edit channel nor change order: Guid should contain 32 digits

I was updating one of my live TV channels. Now, my guide only loads up to the where the new channel should be (the channel and all those after are no longer shown in the guide). Note that all channels are shown in the channel editor, but not in the guide.

If I try to enable the channel and assign the EPG, the modal opens but never populates with content.

If I try to reorder this channel, I get this error: Guid should contain 32 digits with 4 dashes.

This is the relevant log info.

Any thoughts on how to proceed that does NOT involve me deleting my channels and starting over?

You may need to recreate the setup

I can look into this to see if there are clues as to how the corruption arose.

Do you recall the exact sequence - what changes you were making?

The diagnostics I would need to look into this would be

- zip of a copy of the "data\livetv" folder

- zip of a copy of the "data\library.db" file (and the .db-shm, .db-wal if they exist)

- zip of all the embyserver log files within the logs folder - to see if it goes back to before the problem arose

The zips can be sent by Private Message  (may need external upload and providing a link)

I "solved" it by deleting all my channels and EPGS, making a backup, then creating a new server, importing the backup and re-adding the channels and EPGs.

I think this was due to a lot of channel manipulation, deleting and re-adding channels and such. I feel this was a long time coming as modifying channels has been problematic for a while.

I have a copy of the data if you'd like it, but might be a very, very rare issue you'd be chasing down.
