MurdocL67SC 1 Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 Emby Theater does not remember it's window size in Windows 11 on first launch after startup. The system in question is using Emby Theater. It's a dual monitor setup using a Tuf Gaming rtx 4070. Monitor 1 is running at 4K resolution and Monitor 2 is at 1080p. I game on monitor 1 while I watch content on Monitor 2. Whenever I first launch Emby Theater after a windows boot, it loads across both monitors in a super large format. Like it was loading into a very low default resolution. It's like if you uninstalled the graphics drivers and rebooted you would load the desktop with very large icons and windows that wouldn't fit on the screen because the OS is using base drivers. I have to drag the Emby window every time to Monitor 1, resize it and drag back to Monitor 2. If I shut down the app after the resize thing and relaunch it, then it loads back to the previous resized position on monitor 2. I have played with the settings but first load is always a monster sized window. I run about half a dozen apps daily on monitor 2, like Firefox, discord, twitch, etc that always relaunch at the same size/location. I have Emby Theater running on my home theater PC, a single display TV, and it loads fine. Anyone experience the same issue?

Luke 42077 Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 Hi, we have a new windows app coming soon that will improve on this, so stay tuned.
MurdocL67SC 1 Posted July 25, 2024 Author Posted July 25, 2024 Okay, that's cool. The issue isn't a deal breaker for me...just an annoyance. If it's being addressed in a new version of the app, then I'll wait for the release and see if it fixes the issue. Murdoc 1
