Playlists not updating

Hi,

Ive got some .m3u playlists in the root folder of my music library. They imported fine when I first did a library scan. I've updated them in another program and copied the new files into the root folder but when I do another library scan they don't update. Am I supposed to delete them from emby and do another scan or are they meant to update when I do a new scan?
