New SSD but no files are showing up after adding the location

I added a new NVMe this evening and tried moving files from the smaller ssd on my Windows machine and after getting it setup, I scanned for files and nothing shows up on my new SSD. I refreshed the metadata and scanned for files, I even put in folders, restarted the server and then rebooted but I can't get anything from the new drive after adding it to the library to show up. I'm not getting errors, it's just not showing up.

I do have movies showing, they are on the original D drive I was using, the TV Series, which are not showing on the new drive E.

How are your files named and organized on your new E:\ drive? How many libraries have you created and with which paths?

As it appears that you have both overlapping/nested folders issues:

2024-07-21 22:40:38.596 Info LibraryMonitor: E:\TV Series is already being watched by watcher for E:\. Adding item 2720

and filefolder naming/structure issues:

That is the second part of your promblem, as what TV show should:

E:\TV Series\Season 1

be? How should Emby decipher that?

TV Naming

As for the first part:

Sorry, for tv shows, it's the only path I have set up currently. I did adjust to what I think that article says to do

I am not understanding what you mean by second part of the problem.

I did have the original tv shows on drive D, but I cut and pasted the files over to drive E

Yes, that appears correct now.

I mean in relation to my first reply, 2 problems were listed:

1.

and

2.

and filefolder naming/structure issues:

Your action/properly naming TV show folders/subfolders as stipulated in the KB article took care of 2.

But 1. is still pending, as one of your libraries has a folder path of plain "E:\". You should revise your libraries setup.

Overlapping/nested folder structure (library paths) are not supported and might break your db.

Is this the only library you have setup?

Can you show the other library paths.

As this suggests a issue but not positive it previous structure caused this.

The issue might have been structure pushing monitor back one level (E:\TV Series\Season 1) making TV Series as actual show.  But if everything is working now you should be all set.
