Erik 124 Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 Hello, I have used the Emby ecosystem for a long time, but have generally used Roku as the client devices. However, with other family members using their iPhones/iPads I have noticed that some of the liveTV recording that come in as 1080i won't playback smoothly at all and the voices are not in sync with the video. My go to on the Roku is try the playback correction so I looked for that on the iOS app and see its not an option. I forced the quality lower to kind of have the same result, but then have to keep lowering/raising it depending on the media to playback now. I don't know if this is a bug that Emby server is trying to serve the 1080i content or if iPads (6-8 Gen) cannot support it. However, for easy user fixing of issues, any chance of adding the playback correction option into iOS? Thanks!
Solution Luke 42077 Posted July 27, 2024 Solution Posted July 27, 2024 Hi, yes this has come up before and it's something we can look at adding. Thanks. 1
