Problem of Directory Changing into a Movie

Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue with Emby: I have a directory containing several movies, but Emby recognizes this directory as a single movie. I would like this directory to be recognized as a folder containing multiple movies, not as a single movie.

I've tried several methods. Initially, it detects the directory, I lock it and copy the movies in multiple steps, identifying them manually using their IMDb IDs. However, after a while, the root directory, even though it's locked, changes to a movie, and when I enter it, all subdirectories become seasons, and all identifications disappear.

In this directory, I have movies at the root and subdirectories containing series of movies.

I have other directories with the same structure that do not have this problem, just this one. No matter how many times I recreate it, it always ends up changing to a movie without me asking it to update the metadata. I handle that part manually.

I haven't found a way to manually change it back to a directory once it has changed to a movie.

Can someone explain how to solve this problem?
