M3U8 Channel ignored

The information in the file does not have any channel number information, so that might be why it isn't showing. I might be wrong, but I don't think Emby would know where to put the new channel. Also, where would you get guide info for the channel?

Hi, did you wait for the guide refresh scheduled task to finish?

OK I looked at this m3u8 and this is not in the correct format. It is a single video stream, probably pointing to a specific channel for playback.

What you need to enter here is an m3u channel listing. Here is how it should be formatted:

@Luke Yeah, that M3U uses one stream for video and a separate one for audio. I'm not an expert on this stuff but it works on VLC.

Is there any way you can make it work on Emby? My wife loves HGTV.  😄

If you just want to import a video url, you can do that with the iptv plugin. If you want to import into Emby Live TV, then it needs to be an m3u channel list.

It works with the IPTV but is there any way to have that added as a Live TV channel, so I can add an EPG and have it work as a regular m3u channel?
