Playback stops on bluetooth remote reconnect

Hi guys,

I am trying to use emby with a Nokia 8010 and the Unfolded Circle Remote 2. The new Bluetooth beta feature has been integrated and works fine in most cases. The only problem currently is the fact that when the Remote goes to sleep it cuts the BT connection. On wakeup BT is reconnected, but when that happens Emby stops playback. Initially I thought this is a general problem but figured out that other players (like Prime Video) do not have this behavior. Is this expected behavior? Is there a setting to change that?

I have the same problem. Emby on firetv, harmony hub or remote2 remote control. When I disconnect and connect the remote control, playback in emby stops.

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

That is exactly how I installed the app on my Nokia 8010. I searched for it and it showed me "Emby for Android". When I go specifically to "Google Play Store" and search for the App it only shows "Open", so I guess the most recent version is installed.

Firetv stick max, Emby for Android 3.4.11. Disconnecting the harmony remote - the movie continues to play, connecting the harmony remote - exits Emby.

Hi,

tried it on my AndroidTV and issue still the same. When bluetooth connection disconnects the playback in Emby stopps. After connection is reestablished the complete screen in Emby "reloads".
