AppleTV 4k native video player issues with DJI drone footage

I'm trying to play my DJI drone videos in emby on an AppleTV 4k unit. When the preferred video player is set to auto or native all of the videos will freeze after 4-10 seconds of playing, and if I skip ahead it will freeze at other points in the videos. When I set it to MPV it works. Any ideas why this wouldn't work with the native player? Also, is there any way to create a media profile that tells it to use the MPV player for this particular video type? It is using direct play and not transcoding.

My configuration: Apple TV 4K set to 4K Dolby Vision, match content range and frame rate (also tried with match nothing),  Emby app v1.8.8 (2)

Video metadata:

Title = 4K HEVC
Codec = HEVC
Codec Tag = hvc1
Profile = Main
Level = 150
Resolution = 3840x2160
Aspect Ratio = 16:9
Interlaced = No
Framerate = 59.94
Bitrate = 130 mbps
Color Primaries = bt709
Color Space = bt709
Color Transfer = bt709
Bit Depth = 8 bit
Pixel Format = yuv420p
Reference Frames = 1

brother use Infuse app and connect it to your emby server

emby app for Apple TV is dead a long time ago  ;) and there is no serious update to fix the problems and requested basic features

mr @Luke

seriously you don't want to use a bit of your power to push the developers to create an app with basic features for Apple TV?

emby users for Apple TV deserve MUCH MUCH better than this

I'm getting sick of hearing this-that will be added in next update , do something please

I love to use original emby app instead of 3rd parties app like infuse but honestly there is no features on apple tv app , even can't watch HDR  or Dolby vision

thanks

I don't really want to share them on the public forum. Also, they're bigger than 195MB. What would be the preferred way to share it?
