There were some 2019 models that Samsung didn't release the latest update to. Be aware that now that your frame TV is 5 years old, Samsung will soon stop store updates of this app in which case you will need to use the USB version on it to remain current. Thanks for the info! Since the Frame is working fine, I'll leave it be for the moment - but good know I can side load. Still wondering why 8 minor resv were released that were not offered on the 2021 model ...

The Samsung review process is slow, and because of that that also means we take our time between releases and making sure we're ready to submit. So just because you see a usb build posted that doesn't mean it's going to the store just yet. 1

I've just checked and 1.8.0 should be on all 2021 models and available in the store. 1.8.0 was released for all consumer models from 2020 onwards by Samsung. Can you manually check the store again and make sure there is not an update?

On the 2021, Samsung shows 1.8.0 released as of 6/12/2024. I'm looking for 1.8.8 for that TV, to see if the interlaced video fix helps this issue. No rush, the reduced video quality setting is working ok. Thanks! 1
SamES 1056 Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 Ok. The 2019 model is now 5 years old so I don’t think you’ll see any more store based updates for it. The USB beta monthly updates is the only way forward now for it.
SHibbard 6 Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 FYI, Side-loaded 1.8.8 into the 2021 Q60A with a USB stick, and still have the same issue - if Quality is set to 'Auto', no video, just audio. Reducing quality brings back video. So the Interlaced Video item is 1.8.8 did NOT solve it.

Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!

SamES 1056 Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Looks like it is still trying to stream interlaced video
Luke 42077 Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Hi, yes, looks like it will require a server-side change as well. If you need immediate relief, that will be in the next build of the beta channel. Thanks.

Don’t want to be the one screwing up release schedules! 1
