MONO sound on Fire Stick don't work

Hi, i want to watch an old Police Academy on my EMBY server on my FIRE STICK, i don't have any sound. Movie is in MONO. I try a few language track, all of them is MONO,  no sound. The movie just play without sound.

I try on my EMBY server on my PC every thing is fine, i have also test it on an old ROKU, and also it's working good.

So i think there is an issue on mono sound on FIRE STICK. 

Anybody have an idea to solve this problem?

Strangely I have a user who's trying to watch a police academy film on a fire stick which has mono audio and they can't get sound to work either! 

Is this an Emby problem or a fire stick problem?

Not sure what more information you need, the users app version is reported as AndroidTv 2.1.14a

Can you please play that item for a few seconds and then follow the instructions to send a log from the app?

The log I just gave should show that, look for Police Academy 2.

Edit: sorry I misunderstood what you meant, I'll try and get the user to do that.

Also,  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

I'm trying to keep this as simple as I can for this user, are they not using the correct app for their platform?

That item also had an AC3 track which it started playing in.  Was sound okay on that one?  Is it a different audio stream than the other one?

Both the AAC and AC3 track are mono, as far as I know, no audio was played with either track.

Also, if it works in one app, apply the fix in the other?

Plus, surely it's easy for you to recreate the problem at your end if the problem seems to be related to a fire stick and playing something with mono audio, no?

No it is not.  There is another app called "Emby for Android".

Question though, why not remove the other app from the store if your moving over? It just causes unnecessary confusion.

@NinkoNo and that's sad.

I like the AndroidTV app much better.

Just look at the list that still need to be fixed, not seeing that in the near future.

Like Luke said "It posible in the future"

Fix what's what wrong with the AndroidTV, and keep it on par.

Till you can satisfy people.

I do have a copy of the AndroidTV apk, if I need to reinstall, and keep a copy when updated.

AndroidTV App v2.1.12a

Just tested this out of curiosity - Audio track is indeed DTS-HD Mono (haha) - played back perfectly (video direct play, software decode on Audio) on a Gen 2 FireTV.
