xmltv series recording with option to check all libraries

It did not record the airing for this episode in the xmltv schedule: Mort blanche Saison:3 Episode:2 with xmltv_ns value of 2.1

So not sure yet what your issue is and if it is specific to certain episodes

Will do some more tests

I am repeating the test - i might have shut down the server at wrong time.

I have managed to get Cassandre S7 E2 to record when it was in a library. The schedule was already in place. Then S7 E2 was added to a library. There was no guide refresh run between the time the episode was added to the library and the time of the airing. So this could be the reason why it goes wrong sometimes. If there is no trigger to check the timers. I have referred the diagnostics I captured to the development team

Are you able to confirm for the ones where it has gone wrong, that there was no guide refresh between the time the episode was placed in the library and the airing of the episode in the xmltv schedule ?  There may be several causes  - the one I reproduced is this one

@pdeliotFor my tests to reproduce the issue, I can confirm that doing a guide refresh after adding an episode to a library, stops the next airing of that episode from recording

So if this is the cause of your issue, suggest trying to schedule guide refreshes to be hourly - see Server Settings / Scheduled Tasks

Server debug logs after a guide refresh complete - you could send me privately zip of copy of the logs folder

zip of the 2 timers json files (in data/livetv) seriestimers.json and timers.json

paths / filenames for these files in the library

and if you can - copy out the library db files and zip and make available to me privately - and copy of system.xml from the config folder
