pdeliot 10 Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 New recording this night confirms that external ids AND episode number are matching.
pdeliot 10 Posted May 14, 2024 Author Posted May 14, 2024 Any idea? Any log or config for troubleshooting? The problem is still there...
pdeliot 10 Posted July 11, 2024 Author Posted July 11, 2024 Hi, I'm coming back with this issu still not resolved, not any ideas where this is coming from. Emby is still recording Series épisodes already in other libraries. The new option "in all libraries" checked. Series, Season, episodes are properly identified: same external ids... and so on. For example, once recorded, the "watch status" is good, because episode identification is correct! You will find in previous post in this thread many informations. Who will handle this seriously? I can provide, logs, database, remote access... If I can have access to the source code, I can try debugging by myself! HELP!!!
Luke 42077 Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 @pdeliotI've moved your posting to a new topic. Please provide an example and attach the emby server log corresponding to that example. Thanks !
pdeliot 10 Posted July 11, 2024 Author Posted July 11, 2024 Thanks Luke, Not sure which log you need.* I've activated debug log. Then played with options for serie "HPI" Then forced a TV Guide refresh. embyserver.txt
Luke 42077 Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 Hi, the log from the time of the recording that you think shouldn't have happened. Thanks.
pdeliot 10 Posted July 12, 2024 Author Posted July 12, 2024 Here, the recordings... With the "watch status" matched.. Then properly identified serie, season and episode. And recording logs. Can you please supply that log file? Thanks.
pdeliot 10 Posted July 13, 2024 Author Posted July 13, 2024 Yes.. I've sent twice the same by mistake . Sorry Please find there the right one... embyserver-63856339203.txt
Luke 42077 Posted July 14, 2024 Posted July 14, 2024 Have you checked the external ids for the HPI series in the metadata at the series level? What are they? Are they correct?
pdeliot 10 Posted July 14, 2024 Author Posted July 14, 2024 Hi Luke all is correct regarding IDs. Existing: New recording: For HPI and many other series impacted by this behavior. And once recorded, the episode properly matched for "watching status".
Luke 42077 Posted July 14, 2024 Posted July 14, 2024 What series and episode fetchers are enabled on the library, and in what order?
pdeliot 10 Posted July 14, 2024 Author Posted July 14, 2024 (edited) Hi Luke, Not sur of what you're asking for. My Guide configuration: XMLTV And extensions: The library for Series: And for the recordings: Edited July 14, 2024 by pdeliot
pdeliot 10 Posted July 19, 2024 Author Posted July 19, 2024 Is that answering your question? Do you need smething else?
Luke 42077 Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 I would try unchecking all anidb features from all libraries related to recordings. Then refresh the guide data and see how things compare.
pdeliot 10 Posted July 24, 2024 Author Posted July 24, 2024 Hi Luke, I've removed AniDB reference from all library, then refreshed Guide. Nothing changed.. recording still planned. Tried to un check then re-check "not in library": all recording still planned. Removed AniDB... Restarted Emby Refreshed Guide.. Nothing change in recording planning. I will see tomorrow effective recordings.
pdeliot 10 Posted July 25, 2024 Author Posted July 25, 2024 HPI existing episode started recording.. See attached log embyserver (1).txt
pdeliot 10 Posted July 26, 2024 Author Posted July 26, 2024 More complete logs embyserver-63857548804.txt
pdeliot 10 Posted August 2, 2024 Author Posted August 2, 2024 Any hope to have further investigation?
sa2000 674 Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 (edited) Investigation into this would be quite complex - requiring the channel schedule metadata for the day when the unexpected recording happened and of course debug server log for the time it happened and also would need a copy of the emby server library database to see what the metadata data is and filenames etc are for the TV show and season that are in the library Unfortunately - the program schedule gets purged hours later so may also need to have backups of the database scheduled and getting the backup of the database from the day before. Issues like this would arise if there is mismatch between the episode identification metadata in the Live TV channel schedule from what is in the database for the already existing episode. I can look into this - you can upload zips of copy of the library.db / library.db-shm / library.db-wal files and backup from the day before and detail of what show/season/episode the issue arose and what channel and airing time. Upload the zipped dbs externally and send me link by PM. Are these OTA channels and using the default Emby guide ? I could try and replicate if they are - if you give me also country and post code and guide name and channel number and title. You could also copy out the data/livetv folder and zip the copy and send to me. That would like the tuner channel identifiers to the data in the database - also would have your scheduled recordings data. Edited August 5, 2024 by sa2000
