rsaxman 0 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 I can log in on the windows app but before my movies can load the app crashes. I have reinstalled and get the same result.
7illusions 1249 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Do you Think you can get me a log? 1. Start the app, without signing in. 2. Bring out the charms menu -> click settings -> view logs -> scroll to the bottom and click "Clear logs" 3. Sign in to the app and produce the crash 4. Start the app again, bring out the charms menu -> click settings -> view logs -> and select the application crash log. TIA
Sylver BEE 0 Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Hi, I have the same problem. The app opens and detects my server. But once I choose a profil and try to connect, the app crashes. techywarrior 689 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 (edited) The app just updated and I am getting the exact same thing. I can't get into the app long enough to do anything. Is there another way to get you the log files? I'm not using MB Connect and it may not matter but I currently can't run the latest MBS version so I am still on 3959. I just have Windows 8.1 on a laptop, so I may be able to do more then the people on a Surface RT in getting info/details if you can tell me what you need. Edited November 18, 2014 by techywarrior

MediaBrowser_3.0.4.156_neutral_split.scale-140_77hd5e1v1hqs4. 7illusions 1249 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 The problem is not a app-license, it's a user license. Have you paid for the app or is it an expired trial?
tunibeta 0 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 not a good thread for windows app. not the same install folder for app installed by windows store
tunibeta 0 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 i found why they crash .... old server doesn't work with 8.1 app store
