New Zidoo boxes with some sort of Emby streaming compatibility?

Are you able to provide any further info on the what or when of planned zidoo improvements @Luke? 

I picked up a Z9X 8k recently and it's fantastic, however whilst running the Emby Android app on it works very well, not being able to use their vs10 engine is a shame, likewise there are quite a few issues with Emby not matching frame rate / resolution of the source media. I can enable their player as an external player which solves those issues, but the controls/ UI are bad. I'd love to just be able to run Emby on it with improved compatibility.

Hi, the improvements are to address many of the missing audio features and shortcomings by adding support for them directly into the player that we embed, which is exoplayer. It sounds like with their new firmware update this is no longer necessary.

I see, thanks Luke. It seems to me that there are still plenty of issues using Emby ARM v7 with exoplayer, especially around inability to use VS10 engine, match framerate and resolution etc. Likewise using their player as external player in Emby is flawed when it comes to transport control etc.
