jorgemg1984 3 Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 Hi! First of all, congrats on Emby, it's a brilliant product! I have it installed on a QNAP NAS and use it only for music listening, ideally trough the Android app. I searched for this topic and couldn't find anything, hope I'm not repeating a thread.. So, when I connect the app (both Android or Windows browser) trough UPNP to my streamer the repeat button and the little highlight on the track currently playing both disappear... Any chance both can still exist during UPNP playback? Thanks!
Luke 42078 Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 HI, these features just haven't been added to DLNA yet but it's something we can look at. Thanks for reporting. 1
jorgemg1984 3 Posted July 10, 2024 Author Posted July 10, 2024 Hi, Luke Many thanks for the reply. It would be GREAT if you could add both those features in a feature update, I would be very thankful Cheers, 1
jorgemg1984 3 Posted July 10, 2024 Author Posted July 10, 2024 BTW, I don't think it justifies opening a new topic, but it would also be brilliant to see "album duration", "codec info" or "composer" on the now playing screen. Also, a big compliment - I've done a fair amount of hifi streamers reviews and am familiar with most apps and most, if not all, music players for Android and Windows - and Emby it's the first one for Android that has a brilliant "now playing" screen with the screen on the left and the playlist on the right, with the option of having "backdrops" on the background (Symfonium is great too in Portrait mode with a large cover but no queue info). It wasn't easy to edit all my music collection to fit Emby's, but it looks amazing. Congrats! 1
