teof13 0 Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 Hi, loading subtitles from opensubtitles is not possible in the last days, according to this Hotfix: Official OpenSubtitles Addon Fixed – The Stremio Blog , the reason is a change in opensubtitles api.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 @Lukewas there an api change Friday is that what the plugin update was for?
darkassassin07 652 Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 I've got dozens of failed subtitle download alerts since the open subtitle plugin update on the 6th (v1.0.56). All have the same 'NotAcceptable' gui error. I'm not gonna go find the actual log file rn.

Luke 42078 Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 Anyone have a link to their issue reports that they had related to that?

All I can find is a forum post say the communicate with dev and it is fixed. Timeline aligns but have no idea if related to their blog. https://forum.opensubtitles.org/viewtopic.php?p=51343#p51343 1
Luke 42078 Posted July 15, 2024 Posted July 15, 2024 Hi, please try again and let us know how things compare. Thanks.
Blatherscribe 5 Posted July 15, 2024 Posted July 15, 2024 I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Open Subtitles plugin, and removing all my settings that are meant to prevent automatic subtitle downloading, and all I can get is a message saying "No results found. Have you configured subtitle downloading?" This is also true for Sub DB, so it may not be the same problem.

Blatherscribe 5 Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 Sure, here you go. I just restarted my computer and tried to download subtitles, so hopefully that will provide a clear picture of whatever's happening that I don't understand. Thanks! embyserver.txt

But testing suggest you have not entered your OpenSubtitles.com info but need a log showing a remotesearch to see opensubtitle login info. Edited July 16, 2024 by Happy2Play
Blatherscribe 5 Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 Sure, here's another. I've entered my Open Subtitles info (I guess I misremembered that it used to work without account info, you just didn't get the paid membership benefits). And I'm having the same problem, only now I get a momentary busy circle before it says there are no results. It's doubly strange because I'm currently logged in to opensubtitles.com (not .org), and I'm getting the results I need there. embyserver.txt
